立法會秘書處資料研究組於2018年9月發表的英文資料摘要《Buying back privatized assets in selected places》，聚焦香港房屋委員會2005年分拆出售公屋及居屋屋苑零售和停車場設施、領展房地產投資信託基金、商場及街市租金、居民日常需要，以及政府回購私有化資產的政策討論；並涵蓋德國及馬來西亞回購公用事業資產、再國有化、市政化、收購融資、資產管理及公共利益安排等海外經驗。
